It’s pretty depressing that Dave’s piece is twenty years old and nothing seems to have gotten better, but let me add one ray of hope. When you’re a “normie” like I was, meaning you believed the party line and scoffed at any dissent from it, when you start to doubt one official narrative, you soon start to doubt them all. Then, when you start examining the evidence with an open mind you get one “oh, no they lied about that, too!” moment after another. This should make the liar’s task harder, but unfortunately, not impossible. Add to that the muddying of the waters by people both good intended and ill, and we have a big job on our hands.
