Hull often got some Famous (if that’s what they were) American artists. I also remember ShaNaNa. The Byrds were also at the Lincoln Folk Festival around that time. I remember the one that was speaking to the crowd apologizing for being electric. The crowd was too stoned to care.

We were in awe of them and not at all critical of their playing. The songs from “Untitled” still ring my head. Them and Cream’s “Goodbye” album.

I overloaded on studying and became a Jesus freak and general “Children of God” groupie until one day decided I needed a job with a steady salary and went to work at a chocolate factory.
