The only real new angle is the surfacing of the previously completely suppressed small hat involvement. Just reading the names in Dave’s work illustrates the Epstein type angle all through from beginning to end.

Sounds like Epstein Island, where Mick allegedly visited many years later. I wonder if there are any others with connections to both Laurel Canyon and Epstein? There can’t be too many since so many musicians from that era died young.

I would love captions, too, but I don’t want to seem like I’m complaining. Just the fact that this information is available is fantastic! I grew up during the Sixties and Seventies and found the culture oddly disturbing, even though like every other teenager I just wanted to fit in. We were all led to believe that “artistic” types just like to live a little on the edge, but we had no idea the manipulative evil that guided it all along and into mainstream American life. Thank you, Alissa, and thank you, Dave RIP.
