@Malinguist, David Carradine seemed a very somber type, and his dad gives off a SCARY vibe! That’s my ‘GUT’ feeling again, but I’m sure if I dug deep enough, I could find some ‘dirt’ that would back-up my hunch.

@ Malinguist, that’s a likely scenario! Gordon Lightfoot gives off a BAD vibe to me, and always has, since the beginning of his career! Of course, we cannot convict on that ‘evidence’ but our INTUITIONS are VERY ACCURATE, and if more people HEEDED them, we would be in living in a much better world! BTW, I was told a LONG time ago that intuition is God talking to us/WARNING us.

@ SkyBlu, I considered your supposition about Polanski for a nano-second, and then realized that he was ‘married’ to Sharon Tate who is obviously MK’d. Was Roman her ‘handler’? THAT is the question. BTW, the “Manson murders” most likely NEVER happened, and if they did, it was CIA ‘WET-OPS’, not some skinny little MK’d hippie who orchestrated them. Also, Vince BUGliosi’s book is FICTION! Fiction SELLS very well!

The first doors record we picked up immediately and thought it was the bomb. Likewise the second record. The production values at Electra records were possibly why they cost a dollar over the majors like Columbia and Warner brothers. Though I don’t play those two records all the time I remember them as just perfect. Everything about them. I don’t have them in front of me to see who arrange them and all that stuff but they were a dark, great band. I don’t enjoy seeing live videos of them. Paul Rothschild by the way worked with a lot of greats like Tim Buckley. Electro Records Was A really artist centered label run by Jack holtzman.

“Hoosier Daddy” The author passed away some years ago. If you check the FB page for Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon, you will see Dave had quite a number of readers. Also, a couple of us made the comment about how bass playing is not difficult for someone who is already a musician back in an earlier part of this story, and about 5 years ago as well. I guess you missed that.

I had to do a web search on David Carradine. Now I recall watching some of his TV roles. The Wiki page on him says, among other things that “under the influence of peyote, Carradine began wandering nude around his Laurel Canyon neighborhood.” You can’t make this stuff up! His death is also shrouded in controversy.
