Me, I was in the stacks of the U of I’s grad library when the news hit. I watched librarians and patrons watching the footage over and over again–and I say, Uh-uh. Not goin there. The images & their repetition, as well as the endless parroting of easy talking points, seemed more hypnotic than enlightening. I put off watching them for another 5 years, at which point 9/11 truth videos were out, and I was able to watch them with a more or less objective eye…Yep, controlled demos, all 3 of them.

To this day, I say, All you have to do is watch how all 3 of those buildings come down. You don’t have to read or think about anything else–just watch how they collapse evenly, all around and all at once, from top to bottom, after having been hit (or not) in some high CORNER by a plane.

Funny how people will fly in the face of reason, and psychgologically rape the very laws of physics–in order to NOT understand that the corporato-gub’mint complex is more mafia than democracy.

I wouldn’t read too much into that detail. It’s true there are F-16s based at Andrews but the flying time from Langley is so short in an F-16 that it hardly matters. At full power they could be over DC in 10 minutes, NYC slightly longer. What is far more odd is the sheer length of time before any jets were dispatched at all.
